Grievance Redressal Mechanism

​​Mechanism of filing & redressal of on-line grievance ​:
The grievances with regard to refund, appeal effect, rectification and Permanent Account Number related issues, can be uploaded in the online grievance portals viz. e-Nivaran (https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/) and CPGRAMS (http://pgportal.gov.in).

As soon as the grievance filed in the e-Nivaran portal, the grievance is directly uploaded to the ID of the concerned Assessing Officer (AO) and simultaneously his/her supervisory authorities (Addl./ Jt. Commissioner of Income Tax/ Commissioner of Income Tax/ Principal Commissioner of Income Tax/ Chief Commissioner of Income Tax/ Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax/ Central Board of Direct Taxes as the cas may be) as per the jurisdiction of the PAN of the aggrieved. The supervisory authorities are regularly monitoring the e-Nivaran grievances for quick redressal of the grievance by the AO.
​​Mechanism of filing on-line complaint ​: The complaints (Tax evasion petition) against any taxpayer viz. black money, disproportionate assets, etc., may be sent to the email of the DGIT (Inv.), Ahmedabad in the ID - ahmedabad.dgit.inv@incometax.gov.in​
